Even when we’re apart, I still carry you with me everywhere I go. You are in the smile I cannot contain and the laughter I cannot control.You are the thought that pops into my head when I’m thinking nothing at all and the person I imagine when I listen to song lyrics. You are my inspiration to be the best possible version of me – not to please you – but because you make me believe in myself and encourage me to reach for my dreams. You are the sunshine that makes my good days better and my bad days barely even matter…And though I miss you while we’re separated, there is nothing on this earth that compares to the feeling of seeing you again. It is like a wave of happiness washing over me, like I can finally breathe again…. like my whole world has stood still until we’re together once more..
They say that when we look at the stars what we are seeing is the distant past… that the lights we see took millions of years to reach us.They say some of the stars in our sky may not even exist anymore, but we still see them because the light of their demise has not yet reached us. But if one of them were to flicker out of existence for us, somewhere else, further away than us, their light will continue to shine. In some way, in some form – they will exist forever. But light travels in all directions, ever onward ever outward and perhaps the stars we are seeing are looking back at our distant past whilst the light of each moment of our lives travels towards them. I love that thought…. That somewhere out there the light of each moment we share together still exists. That somewhere out there, in some way, in some form we will always be together …. and I will love you for a million years...............
